this is my personal/project site, COLORTRAKS.NET! named after the RCA product line of CRT televisions. no relation to the currently existing salon product brand...

im not a web designer. i code what looks cool to me. i really dislike modern web design and its soft generic feel. COLORTRAKS.NET is a love letter of mine to web 1.0

this site is hosted on neocities.org, which i highly recommend to anyone getting into webmastery! i want to host the site myself eventually, but we'll see how it goes.

don't forget to sign the guestbook before you leave! its obviously not required, but i love hearing everyone's opinions on my site :-D

this site has a lot of gifs! i don't go too hard with heavy flashing and eyestrain as i myself get migraines, but my about page does have some blinkies on it and i do really like those decorative geocities-era gifs of like lava lamps and shit. oh! and i curse a lot. that too. (i'm a lot better about it on this website though...)

here's a page showing you how to disable gif autoplay if you think they'll be an issue for you.

created on a 1080p display, so i'd say thats bare minimum but all browsers have a zoom in/out feature nowadays so it's not too big a deal. tested primarily with firefox, but should work on pretty much everything. definitely readable on mobile but i wouldn't call it "optimized." that'd be giving myself too much credit, lol

i've used a bit of javascript, but for now it's nothing essential to the site and all relatively minor stuff. i don't have any music autoplay on here.
